When Romania had a king, this was his palace
Trev, Shan and Lallie in front of the King's Palace
Grandma in front of the same palace
The front of Dracula's castle
More of the front of Dracula's castle
And still a bit more of the front of the castle
Here was are at the entrance to Dracula's castle
Shan, Lallie and Trev are entering Dracula's castle
Why don't you come on in with me?
The castle is filled with many hidden stairways
Alicia found some of the hidden stairways challenging
I found the hidden stairways very dark
And very eeeeerie!!!
Here is a look down into the courtyard of Dracula's castle
Grams doesn't look too scared wandering down there all
by herself
Mom and the girls made it to the top of the castle
The view from the top is pretty spectacular
Another view from the top of Dracula's castle
Course, all that climbing tends to get kind of tiresome
We did, of course, take the opportunity to attend Church
The young adults (and Sister Cocha, the pretty 81-year-old
young lady between Elder Eyre and Grams) had a little going
away party for Elder Eyre on Sunday evening
Elder Eyre was a little bit sad about having to leave Romania
(in case you can't tell, that's Trev's sad face)
A little roadside example of the modern gypsy transportation
Cows walking down the streets of the village - -
hmmm, reminds me of Minersville when I was a kid
