We did, of course, take the opportunity to attend Church

The young adults (and Sister Cocha, the pretty 81-year-old

young lady between Elder Eyre and Grams) had a little going

away party for Elder Eyre on Sunday evening

Elder Eyre was a little bit sad about having to leave Romania

(in case you can't tell, that's Trev's sad face)

Welcome to Romania - Main Square of Bucharest

Becky was a little bit concerned about the water . . .

This is the reason we came - to get Elder Eyre (and we got him!!!)

(The young lady is their Romanian instructor from the MTC,
she was back in Romania visiting during the time they were leaving)

We spent a fair bit of time touring around Bucharest (we'll have a

block of pics a bit later) . . . But we also got a chance to take a

quick "P-day" trip down to the Black Sea

And the Black Sea really is black in some places

(this dog was white when he first went swimming)

Obviously, we didn't go swimming in it . . .

(Actually the Black Sea was quite beautiful - just don't have a lot of

shots to show you. We did walk in the sand for a few moments, but

mostly just enjoyed the good food and great atmosphere)

(In case you are wondering, the great cuisine you are viewing in the

picture is pig guts)

Jet lag is a bugger, isn't it???

Romania, a mini tourbus. Later, we'll show you some pics of our

trip to Dracula's castle and across Transilvania

Cheese Head!

This delectible goat cheese was another find from the Costco traveling cheese show. So soft and creamy, easily (and deliciously) spread on crackers or bread, or even bagels. Do not be alarmed by the "goat" part. It is yum yum yum!

also- yes I do love my children more than cheese, and will post Halloween pics soon... as soon as I get the pics off my camera onto the computer!

Actually, I don't think I added the tutu pic because I had to be w/in the last 3 months, but I can't remember which other pic of Kendal I submitted. Ok Eyre heads.... since so many of you are dragging your feet on starting your own blog, I have started an Eyre family blog, and you have all been invited to be authors. This way, we can all post about our own happenings, post pics, and the likes, and at the end of the year we can print in into a book. Bada boom, bada bing- our family history is done for the future generations, pics and journaling all in one. Oh the blessedness of technology.

There is only ONE thing that threatens to thwart this good effort- a lack of participation! So play around, and call for tutorials if you need, but do something and start posting!

Logistical things to discuss: Dad and I just spent way too much time trying to find an adorable backround... no such luck, so anyone who finds a cute one, throw it on. Also, currently we are open to public viewing. We can change it to private, but anyone that wants to see the blog has to be invited via email. But until we decide on going private- DO NOT LIST LOCATIONS!! If everyone is more comfortable with private, let me know and I'll change it. That's all I can think of for now.
